article is error-prone: Don was never an ice-skater, but rather
a singing emcee with "tank shows" such as ICE-ARAMA.
And he was "discovered" for the show by Dick
Powell, not Aaron Spelling. Mark had made a few television
guest appearances prior to
JOHNNY RINGO.
